Asked where in Precinct 3 the TIRZ would go and warned it diverts county funds, lacks transparency with appointed boards, and often precedes MUDs that raise homeowners' tax bills. Also raised drainage concerns for rural Precinct 3 and asked about the Ten Commandments monument foundation.

During item 48, raised concerns that TIRZs lock tax money into one precinct, can be run by appointed boards that incur debt without voter oversight, cited failed Harris County examples, and noted pending property tax legislation could undermine TIRZs. Asked to be included in the workshop.
